WV v. EPA - How Much Law Remains

Special guest Dan Galpern, legal and policy adviser to climate scientist James E. Hansen and founder of Climate Protection & Restoration Initiative (CPR) (https://cprclimate.org), joins Dr. Peter Carter, Paul Beckwith and Regina Valdez to provide an important follow up to both the videos ‘Climate Change under U.S. Law - Part 3’ and also the more recent video ‘A Petition to Phase Out Greenhouse Gas Emissions.’

This program provides information about the decision reached, on June 30th, 2022, on the West Virginia versus EPA SCOTUS case and its implications for the CPR petition, which was submitted to the EPA on June 16th, 2022.

There is a very important call to action. Now that the Environmental Protection Agency has opened a docket for the CPR petition, CPR is inviting you to strongly consider visiting their website at https://cprclimate.org to do one or all of the following actions:

• Endorse the petition
• Make a donation to fund the legal work that lies ahead
• Submit comments that will become part of the EPA official administrative record for the petition.

The website provides a tool where one can easily submit comments that will become part of the official administrative record. A form letter is provided with the ability to tailor your letter and then submit it.
